ABOUT US

Human First Films

Human First Films is a Canadian-based production company leading the fusion of traditional filmmaking and artificial intelligence technologies.

Through an international partnership with one of the world’s leading AI engine creators in South Korea, we are developing new production processes that combine human filmmaking craft with advanced AI tools. This collaboration places Canada at the forefront of a new generation of film production that expands creative possibilities while strengthening the role of human artists and technicians.

We are directors, writers, cinematographers, editors, sound technicians, and producers who believe filmmaking remains a deeply human expression of ideas, emotion, and truth. Our work is built around real actors, real crews, and real storytelling.

Artificial intelligence expands what filmmakers can create — it does not replace the artist.

For generations, filmmaking has been constrained by high production costs, logistical barriers, and distribution gatekeepers. By integrating advanced AI technologies with traditional filmmaking methods, we are developing new ways to produce, finance, and distribute stories that were previously impossible to create within conventional budgets.

Our approach is rooted in a simple principle: innovation should strengthen creative industries, not replace them.

Human First Films is committed to helping the film industry adapt to emerging technologies in a way that preserves jobs, expands opportunities for filmmakers, and grows the creative economy. By embracing new tools and evolving production models, the industry can unlock new markets, create new roles, and allow storytellers to reach global audiences.

As the film and media industries undergo rapid technological transformation, Human First Films aims to position Canada as a global leader in the integration of human-driven storytelling and AI-enabled production.

Our mission is simple:

Protect the craft.
Preserve the human element.
Use technology to expand storytelling.

Because no matter how advanced technology becomes, the most powerful force in cinema will always remain the same:

One human being telling a story to another.
